Executive Summary

This proposal outlines a humanitarian project to construct a secure, nurturing home for 50 orphans in Iganga District, Uganda. The facility will provide basic needs such as shelter, nutrition, healthcare, and education support, aiming to restore hope, dignity, and opportunity to children who have lost parental care. With a modest budget of $10,000, we plan to initiate Phase 1 of the construction using cost-effective, community-driven methods.

Background

Uganda faces a high number of orphans due to poverty, disease (especially HIV/AIDS), and conflict-related issues. In Iganga, many children are left homeless or in unsafe environments without consistent access to food, education, or medical care.
These children are vulnerable to exploitation, disease, and trauma. A permanent, loving home is essential to break this cycle and give them a foundation for a brighter future.
